She has 10+ years of communication and change experience, spending the last 4 years working to support business collaboration across the Pearson enterprise.

Knowledge and Learning Manager UnLtd

Virginia has been helping organisations embrace, and exploit the benefits of, enterprise social software for more than a decade. Her work at UnLtd (The Foundation for Social Entrepreneurs) has focused on establishing a ‘virtual office’ for teams across the UK to come together and collaborate. It’s been a learning adventure for everyone, as it has involved a supercharged shift in culture and habits.  As the implementation of the platform has coincided with important adjustments to the organisation’s strategy and practice, Virginia has needed to deal with additional challenges to the usual change management issues associated with the adoption of virtual working.

Sheila is an active board member of the Institute of Internal Communication in the areas of CPD and Strategy. She founded internal communication consultancy theblueballroom in 2001 and is passionate about people and business and how to make communications work better for both.

Sheila has more than 20 years’ experience in senior consultancy and, throughout her career, has worked with some of the world’s largest employers, delivering strategic consultancy, employee engagement programmes and creative concept development.

Our event Chair, Angela is a highly accomplished industry analyst, specialising in Social Collaboration technologies and practices. Angela regularly presents at conferences and seminars on Collaboration technology, markets and adoption best practice, as well as writing for journals and trade publications.

Kat Jones is the Community Manager, Internal Communications at Springer Nature – the newly merged organisation which combines Macmillan Science and Education and Springer Science+Business Media. Springer Nature has an employee base of 13,000 in over 50 countries and Kat manages an internal Jive community. With over six years of internal communication experience and a passion for digital Kat has always aspired to digitally focused roles, which she continues to do at Springer Nature.
